TYRANNOSAURUS®SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel) production line provided by BMH Technology Oy, turns municipal solid waste, industrial and commercial waste through shredding and separation process into SRF (solid recovered fuel), that is in compliance with European standard (EN15359). SRF is not waste, it’sclean, homogeneous, high quality and high calorific value fuel, which could be utilized as substitute fuel for traditional fossil fuels such as coal and oil, in power boilers and cement kilns.
SRF is environmental-friendly fuel. Its CO2 emissions are a quarter of those of coal. By burning SRF in modern CFB power boilers, very low NOx levels will be achieved. The even quality of SRF guarantees stable combustion process which prevents the production of hazardous substance such as dioxin.

Hazardous Waste Treatment and Valorization by Plasma Technology
The management of hazardous waste has become a growing concern. Current technologies, such as incineration or landfilling, do not bring sufficient environmental satisfaction. Plasma melting is giving an ecological solution by turning a hazardous waste into an inert and stable glassy product which can be valorized. The plasma technology is considered as the best available technology for hazardous waste treatment thanks to the very high temperature reached by plasma. It answers regulation changes in terms of waste management and emissions control. A plasma torch process can melt and transform a wide range of waste types such as toxic ash, asbestos, contaminated soil, dust. The vitrified product obtained, which is either vitreous or crystalline in shape, is totally inert and can be recycled as aggregate for use in road construction or building material. The technology has been proved for more than 20 years by the Europlasma Company which develops, constructs and operates several plasma processes in Europe and in Asia.
